Your role as a Building Surveyor
As a Building Surveyor with Smith Heritage Surveyors, you’ll have an exciting and varied role. You’ll be working with properties of all shapes, sizes and ages, from modern homes through to our specialism – listed buildings.
Our surveyors enjoy flexibility within their roles and manage their own workload. When not visiting sites, you’ll be working from home. This gives our team a great work-life balance whilst allowing you to manage your work to suit other commitments.
We have a close relationship with the Residential Property Surveyors Association (RPSA), and we ask all our surveyors to become members if they aren’t already.
Careers with Smith Heritage Surveyors
What we’re looking for
- AssocRICS, MRICS, FRICS or MCIOB qualified, or over 80 per cent through studies with Sava
- RICS, RPSA, CIOB qualified, or over 80 per cent through studies with Sava
- Extensive experience surveying residential properties of all types, from listed period buildings to new builds
- Motivated self-starter capable of working with minimum supervision
- Based in the South of England
- Excellent report writing skills
- Strong communication skills
